A trip to Canberra. On Sunday. Never Again!
Although Canberra is the nation's capital, with population over 350,000 people, it is a dead city. There was literally no one in there. No one on the streets, in the shopping centres (mainly because they were closed...). In the morning we went to the botanical gardens of Canberra, pretty but nothing like Sydney.
Then had a look from the Telstra viewing tower.
Then we found out that we missed a ton of interesting sunday markets and a flea market. Gutted.
Hi kangaroo |
This below is an emblem of Australia (they have it on their passports). There are questions about the choice of animals, why a kangaroo and an emu. The answer is that these are the only two animals that can't go backwards.
But that's a lie.
