We met Steve Bourne, now former president of ISCA, who took us to this lake. In Australia they suffered major draughts in the past 10 years, and only this year they started to get some rain. That's why there actually is a lake.
It's fairly shallow and there's a wooden path leading to a scenic vista. Lot of birds on the lake!

And then on we went to the cave. Luckily it was a tiny nice one.

Steve took us to the blue lake. And it really was blue! It changes colour, and in the winter it is more grayish but in the summer it's said to be aquamarine. We were there in may, that would be november in northern hemisphere. Still pretty blue, don't you think?
By the way, this lake is in a crater.
